About the Wedding
When we first met Liz and Pete we were so excited to work with them on their big DC wedding. Then COVID hit, and they decided to put wedding planning on hold until we could all suss out what the situation was going to be for hosting weddings. Then they reached out to us about a year later and told us that the plan for large DC wedding had changed to a small backyard wedding in Atlanta. We were delightful to join them on the ride of planning a wedding in just a few months at Liz’s family home. The vendors that we found to work with us on such short notice were amazing, and made the day delightful.
Some highlights from the day are the beautiful design by Robert Long and his team, the Atlanta elements like the custom Coke bottles that also served as place cards, and the round of trivia that Sara and I hosted towards the end of the evening - guys vs. girls!
