About the Wedding

Last October, we were happy to hop in the car and head into close to the middle-of-nowhere Maryland for this beautiful barn wedding. More than the lovely farm, we were excited to that our couple had a true heart for ensure that their wedding had as minimal an impact on the environment as possible. This meant that part of our duties for this wedding were measuring waste, making sure that the correct signage was up at the trash bins, and generally helping Hannah and Rush implement their awesome sustainability plan.

Kind Words

Sara and Jessica gave me the greatest wedding gift - being able to be truly present at my wedding! From start to finish, they were professional, easy to work with, creative, and supportive. They were helpful to suggest vendors, timing, etc., but supported me in my vision and  decisions and made planning as easy as possible. When it came to the wedding day, I knew we were in great hands the whole time, and my husband and I both felt totally comfortable handing over the reigns. It was really important to me to have a sustainable and zero waste wedding, which is not only something Sara and Jessica were on board with, but they brought a level of knowledge and expertise in sustainability that was great while working with vendors..
